Trees Meanings

The trinkets are made from different type of wood, which I found in my surroundings or I recover it from some old and broken furniture or log.
Below I collected some meaning of the trees that I use in my projects, or I plan to use in future.


Oak
With its expansive canopy, an oak isn't just stately. It's a symbol of power and courage.
Cherry
The cherry is considered a sign of good fortune, love and romance.
Birch
Symbolically, they represent new beginnings.
Elm
They represent intuition and inner strength.
Fir
These trees represent a symbol of springtime.
Acacia
In both Greek and Spanish the name acacia means honorable or straightforward. In the Victorian era Acacia represents good friends; while in the Book of the Dead it is said that the spirits begin lead to the acacia tree to begin their journey in the next life.
Apple
Is one of the most sacred trees and symbolizes good health and future happiness. Since ancient times it has also been known as the ‘Tree of Love’ and is associated with Aphrodite`s, goddess of love.
Pear
The shape of the pear has represented the female form in the art world for centuries, creating a strong symbol of fruitfulness and femininity. And the Chinese believe that the pear is a symbol of immortality.
